The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has principally approved U10 to U18 player evaluations for the 2023-24 season to be conducted during the spring. This season, evaluations for U12 and Below occurred during the fall.

This change is a result of a request by the OHF to Hockey Canada based on the feedback and direction of our Associations and membership.

SPRING 2023 TIMELINE

OHF Championships are scheduled for the 4th weekend of April – April 21-23, 2023.

Player Evaluations would then start the Monday following OHF Championships – April 24, 2023.

Tryouts are delivered in 7-day windows:

AAA: begin April 24
AA: begin May 1
A & Below: begin May 8
At AA & below, outside the Lake Ontario Region (LOR), Associations may choose to deliver Fall Player Evaluations.
