Happy Holidays from your President

Now that we are enjoying this holiday break, I wanted to reflect on the first half of the Hockey Season.
Firstly, we have faced much adversity thus far, but I must say that I am impressed by all of you as you have rallied together in support. Some of our families have lost loved ones, another has lost everything in a house fire. We have seen an unprecedented number of players out of the lineup due to injuries, viruses, and flu bugs.

While success cannot always be measured by wins and losses, I believe we are on the right path. Taking two groups of kids and joining them together is a daunting task to say the least. While some of our clubs came out of the gate strongly, others are still trying to find their rhythm. To this point, I’d like to thank all our dedicated coaching staff, board of directors and committee members. Without these amazing individuals Nickel City would not be the largest and most successful Rep Association under NOHA’s banner.

We have much to be thankful for during the holidays and so I invite you all to rejoice and enjoy these moments.
Merry Christmas with best of wishes of health and prosperity for 2023.
