After receiving a call from Coach Ben’s wife, Mel Birmingham, a teacher at Lansdowne asking if we could post on our social media the dire need at the school for children’s winter gear. The Nickel City Sons U18AA joined forces with parents, friends, family and some help from local sports store, Pro-Am Sports, to get the Students of Lansdowne Public School equipped for winter weather and looking sharp in some Sons swag. All in all the Sons were able to collect 54 Coats, 83 Toques,27 pairs of Mitts, 23 scarfs, 29 pairs of ski pants, 26 pairs of winter boots and 20 Sons Hoodies.
